Description
Deep blue curtains, pale sheers: a breath of air moves through the folds. Window light reveals the drape and transparency of the fabrics.
A closer look.
In the vertical frames, the fabric’s subtle ripples remain visible. Each of the three views keeps its own rhythm.
Inside the process
Fabric in motion.
The prompts call for tightly restrained movement: small ripples in the folds, the sheer curtain’s top and side edges held in place, and its hem touching the floor. They also constrain room distortion, changes in lighting and shimmering transparency.
For the sheers, one test combines those ripples with a very slow camera move to the right and forward. The fabric barely moves; the lines of the window remain reference points.
Three models, five branches.
The ComfyUI workflow brings together Kling 2.5 Turbo, Kling 2.6 and Kling O1. Its five branches cover two approaches: animation from a single image, or control through a first and last frame.
Both O1 branches specify five-second outputs at 1080p. The sheer-curtain branch uses 9:16; its prompt defines the movements to avoid, from billowing fabric to a lifting hem.
The period
January 2026.
Kling 2.6 had just arrived in December 2025. Kling 3.0 and Seedance 2.0 would follow in February; Veo 3 and Seedance 1.0 were already available. New versions were arriving only weeks apart.
With the tools available then, these five-second shots already achieve clean, convincing fabric movement. The folds and transparency remain readable, while the limited motion leaves room to appreciate the material.
